On Wednesday, the VN-Index increased for the second day in a row as it closed up by a tenth of a percent. Once again, heavy selling pressure in the afternoon session mitigated gains made earlier in the day. VCB (+1.9%) was the day’s leading contributing gainer, followed by fellow bank BID (+2.0%). On the other end of the spectrum, HDB (-2.9%) dropped to a two-month low. HVN (+1.2%) increased for the second straight day.
