The VN-Index broke above 1,000 points on Wednesday for the first time since November 2007, closing up one percent for an eighth straight day of gains. Stocks have jumped almost 10% over the last three weeks and have soared 50% from 52 weeks ago. Large caps continue to take turns pushing the index higher. Yesterday's top sector, banks, cooled off today, but other large caps, such as SAB (+5.0%), GAS (+2.2%) and MWG (+2.0%), took their place to extend the hot streak.
