On Friday, the VN-Index declined for the third day in a row as it dropped by 1% to a 10-week low of 977.78 points. For the week, the index tumbled 3.2%, which was its biggest weekly loss since December 2018. VCB (-2.3%) was the leading contributing decliner for the third day in a row, falling 4.7% for the week. Fellow banks BID (-2.4%) and TCB (-1.9%) also decreased. On the other hand, VPB (+1.0%) and EIB (+1.5%) both bounced back from steep declines on Thursday.
