Market wrap: Stocks open week strong, led by VNM. The VN-Index closed up half a percent on Monday as it snapped a streak of four straight losing sessions. VNM (+2.7%) was the leading contributor to the gain, opening the week strong after it fell 3.8% last week. Additionally, fellow food and beverage manufacturing companies SAB (+1.4%) and MSN (+1.4%) gained. EIB (+3.4%) surged. Other bank tickers increased, including VCB (+1.3%), HDB (+1.7%) and BID (+0.3%).
