The VN-Index opened up nine tenths of a percent on Wednesday after the US announced it would delay the implementation of tariffs on some Chinese goods. However, the momentum could not be sustained as the index declined in the late afternoon to close the session up just two tenths of a percent. GAS (+0.9%) was the leading contributor to the day’s gain. Conversely, PLX (-1.3%) was the leading contributor among decliners. BVH (+1.5%) posted its first positive session since last Thursday.
