After trading sideways for most of Wednesday’s session, the VN-Index dropped in the last hour of trading to close down by eight tenths of a percent. The index closed at 855.08, which is a three-week low. VHM (-1.6%) fell for its fourth session in a row while parent company VIC (-0.4%) slumped to its lowest share price since June 30. Conversely, VIC’s other listed subsidiary, VRE (+2.5%), was the day’s top contributing gainer. Dairy company VNM (-1.6%) declined to a three-week low.
