As the majority of large caps dipped into the red today, the VN-Index stepped back more than four points to close at 569.9. The banks were today’s main party-spoilers with none of them making gains. Being the top index laggard, VCB and CTG slumped 1.6% and 1.1% respectively and took roughly 1.3 points off the index. Foreigners net sold more than USD3.7 million worth of domestic equity today, mostly on the back of the looming worry about the oil & gas mid-stream player, PVD.
