Our view: The VNI closed at 423.2 (+1.2%) and the HNI enjoyed a 2.2%, closing at 70.5 (+2.2%) as liquidity and market breadth improved significantly. To be certain, VNM again hit ceiling but its impact was not as acute as in the two previous sessions since announcing its stock bonus. The VNI was driven by broad market breadth with gainers outnumbering laggards over five-to-one in the week’s opening session.
