Standard & Poor’s downgrade of nine eurozone nations was unable to hurt the domestic bullish sentiment as we enter the last trading week before the Lunar New Year holiday. The recent upward momentum expanded and market breadth improved as many stocks moved in sync to boost both indices, recording 146 limit-ups amongst 333 advancers collectively. Liquidity strengthened markedly on contribution from a put-through transaction of foreigners selling out of VIC stock.
