Macro Update - Economic results improve following Vietnam's reopening

Restrictions eased across the country with 85.2% of the population over the age 18 vaccinated. In October, Vietnam eased and lifted social distancing measures across the country. People are now allowed to circulate within the country with certain conditions. Although daily COVID-19 case numbers plummeted in October (average of 4,100 in October vs nearly 11,000 in September), the number of daily cases accelerated to around 6,000 in the first week of November as restrictions eased.
