Trading in secondary markets was subdued as most of investors decided to buy on the primary market where winning yields were higher. In addition, expectations that the SBV will again lower the interest rate encouraged investors to hold rather than cash out. Weak credit growth also is supporting demand for risk-free government bonds. We recommend buying short-term maturities such as 1, 2, and 3-year.
